Photography runs in my family, especially film photography. Grandpa Stack lived with a camera around his neck and said photos should always include people. Grandpa Bollero used his Pentax Spotmatic for film photography, taking photos all over the world; inheriting the camera in 2019 ignited my passion for the elegant process of shooting film. The meditative art of film photography offers a sense of delayed gratification that I deeply appreciate. At times, I flirt with danger as I step out of my comfort zone, capturing candid moments and taking portraits of strangers in unexpected places
I mainly focus on people and lifestyle through film photography, but also document my personal adventures and explore the breathtaking beauty of wild landscapes with my drone and iPhone. In the age of digital images and AI-created content, my commitment to film photography is my act of rebellion akin to counter-culture and punk rock.
